Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide directly and information generated through your use of the app:

• Account Information: Email address, display name, and authentication credentials (via Supabase Auth). If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email as authorized by you.
• Photos & Images: Photos you upload of clothing items for your digital wardrobe, and face/body photos used solely to generate your AI avatar. Photos are stored in encrypted cloud storage and are never shared with other users.
• Body & Style Data: Gender, height, weight, body measurements, style preferences, and occasion preferences you provide during onboarding. This data powers personalized outfit recommendations and try-on sizing.
• Location Data: Approximate location (city-level) to provide weather-based outfit suggestions. Location is accessed only while the app is in use ("When In Use" permission). We do not track your location in the background. Weather data is fetched from Open-Meteo using your coordinates; no personal data is sent beyond latitude and longitude.
• Barcode Data: When you use the barcode scanner feature, scanned barcode numbers are sent to a product lookup service (UPCitemdb) and, if not found, to a web search service to identify the product. No personal data is included — only the barcode number.
• Wardrobe Data: Clothing item details including name, category, brand, color, photos, purchase price, and AI-inferred attributes (style tags, formality, fabric type).
• Price & Wishlist Data: Items you add to your wishlist, including product names, brands, prices, and price history. When you use price tracking or resale estimation, item details (name, brand, category) are sent to a web search service to find current prices.
• Chat Data: Messages you send to the AI stylist, stored to maintain conversation history and improve recommendations.
• Interaction Data: Actions such as saves, likes, follows, comments, try-on requests, and outfit preferences.
• Virtual Currency Data: Gem balances and transaction history for two separate gem types — voting gems (received as a monthly allowance on Pro, or purchased through in-app purchases; non-cashable) and earned gems (received from other users voting on your campaigns; cashable by eligible Pro creators). We record balances, purchases, votes cast, streak-freeze purchases, and creator payouts.
• Campaign Data: Outfit compositions you create for campaigns, campaign metadata (title, description, duration), voting activity on other users' campaigns, and engagement metrics.
• Creator Earnings Data: For Pro users who opt into cash-out, we collect bank account details (account name, bank name, account number) so that our team can manually process payouts as bank transfers. We may also request government-issued ID for verification before releasing a payout. You are solely responsible for reporting and paying applicable taxes on payouts received.
• Gamification Data: Login streaks, achievement progress, leaderboard rankings, Style XP levels, and streak-freeze usage.
• Referral Data: Referral codes generated for your account and referral relationships between you and users you invite (or who invite you).
• Subscription Data: Subscription tier (Free, Basic, or Pro), purchase and renewal dates, and transaction verification data received from Apple's App Store. We do not store your payment card details.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and push notification token (if enabled).

We use your information exclusively to provide and improve the Style Manager service:

• Generate your AI digital avatar from your uploaded photos
• Create virtual try-on previews showing outfits on your avatar
• Provide personalized outfit recommendations based on your wardrobe, style preferences, weather, and occasion
• Power the AI stylist chat with context about your wardrobe and taste
• Identify clothing items via barcode scanning for quick wardrobe or wishlist entry
• Track and compare retail prices for wishlist items across online retailers
• Estimate resale value of your wardrobe items based on current market data
• Show real-time fashion trends sourced from the web via AI-powered search
• Show you a social feed of saves from users with similar style
• Send push notifications for daily outfit suggestions (only if you opt in)
• Track your fashion budget, spending, and wardrobe value
• Manage your gem balances (voting + earned), process gem transactions, and track earning and spending activity
• Operate the campaign voting system and calculate creator earnings
• Process creator payouts manually as bank transfers for eligible Pro creators (within 7 business days; may require ID verification)
• Track gamification progress including streaks, achievements, leaderboard rankings, and Style XP
• Manage referral relationships
• Process and verify subscription purchases and gem-pack in-app purchases via Apple's App Store

Avatar Generation: Your face and body photos are sent to Replicate Inc. to generate a digital avatar. The avatar is an AI-generated approximation. Your photos are not retained by the AI provider after generation.

Virtual Try-On: Outfit preview images are AI-generated simulations. They do not represent actual garment fit, color accuracy, or real-world appearance. Purchasing decisions should not be based solely on try-on results.

Animated Looks (Pro): Pro subscribers may animate stills into short videos using Kuaishou's Kling v2.5 model, served via Replicate. Source images are processed for video generation and are not retained by the AI provider after generation.

AI Stylist: The chat stylist is powered by Google Gemini to provide fashion advice. Responses are AI-generated suggestions, not professional fashion consulting.

Fashion Trends: Trend data is generated by AI with web search grounding — the AI searches real fashion publications and sources to identify current trends. Source attributions are provided where available, but trend information may not be fully accurate or up-to-date.

Price Tracking & Resale Estimates: Price data and resale valuations are obtained through AI-powered web searches of retailer and resale platform websites. Prices shown are estimates and may not reflect current or actual prices.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with:

• Supabase — Database & Auth. Hosted in EU (eu-west-1).
• Railway — Backend hosting. No persistent user data.
• Google Gemini (AI) — AI chat, clothing classification, trend research, price checking, and resale estimation. Web search queries contain only item details (name, brand, category), never personal information.
• Replicate Inc. (AI) — Avatar generation, virtual try-on, and (for Pro users) short video animation via the Kuaishou Kling v2.5 model. Images are processed and not retained after generation.
• Open-Meteo — Weather data. Receives only latitude and longitude coordinates. No API key or personal data transmitted. Open-source service.
• UPCitemdb — Barcode product lookup. Receives only barcode numbers. No personal data transmitted.
• Apple Push Notification Service — Push delivery.
• Apple App Store (In-App Purchases) — Subscription billing, gem-pack purchases, and transaction verification. We receive receipt data but do not store payment card details.
• Banking Partner (manual bank transfer) — Creator payouts are processed manually by our team as direct bank transfers from a partner bank. We do not currently route payouts through an automated payment processor. Your bank account details are stored on our servers solely to enable manual payouts and are not shared with any third-party processor.
• Upstash — Redis cache. Data expires automatically.
• PostHog — Product analytics (screen views, feature usage). Events are tied to your account identifier so we can debug per-user issues, but no personal content (photos, chat messages, body data) is shared. No advertising identifiers are collected. Hosted in US.

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Profile > Delete Account. Deletion removes your profile, wardrobe, photos, avatar, try-on results, chat history, follows, wishlist, price history, body measurements, and budget data.

Deletion is processed immediately and your account is deactivated. Cached data expires within 1 hour. To preserve the integrity of conversations between remaining users, your prior comments on other users' posts may be retained in anonymized form.

Gem & Earnings Data: Upon account deletion, your gem balances (both voting and earned) are forfeited and transaction history is permanently removed. Any pending creator payouts will only be processed before deletion if they meet the minimum cash-out threshold of 500 earned gems ($500); otherwise, pending amounts are forfeited.

California (CCPA): Right to know, delete, and opt out of sale. We do not sell personal information.

EU (GDPR): Rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection.

Style Manager is not intended for children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us at support@stylemanager.ai if you believe a child has provided data.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
